This is one of a rash of pellet pits that came out as patents were expiring. When you are looking at pits like the MAK, Yoder, and even the Memphis... the controllers are more intelligent. I priced the Yoder at a place in Denver was 3 grand and the Blazin Grill works was $2,100. I spent $799 for the silverbac. I just hope it last me 10 years.

After having both, I’m not seeing how these more durable expensive ones are worth the extra cost. For me, after owning charcoal, pellet, and an egg, I’d recommend an egg (or equivalent).
