WebI edited my registry files to enable DIPM ssd management. In my battery profile I have achi link power management - hipm/dipm set to lowest on battery and hipm + dipm when plugged in. And I have achi link power management - adaptive set to 5 seconds on battery life. It's supposed to make the ssd more efficient.

In order for Windows 10 to TRIM the drive, the drive controller has to be set to AHCI or RAID. 'Trimming' the drive is the equivalent to defragmenting a mechanical hard drive.
