WebDec 6, 2024 · Abstract The role and use of minimal residual disease (MRD) testing has changed significantly over the past few years as it has become part of the routine care for response assessment in multiple myeloma. WebIn a multicentre analysis, the IMWG compared conventional skeletal survey and whole-body CT scans of 212 patients with monoclonal plasma cell disorders. This analysis found that whole-body CT gave a positive diagnosis for monoclonal plasma cell disorder in 25·5% of patients who had negative conventional skeletal survey results.
